The twister lifted 2.4 miles east of Deputy. It is important to remember that the Grazulis publications list only those tornadoes that were of at least F2 strength or resulted in at least one fatality.

During the end of the tornadoes life cycle it narrowed and bounced striking several trees and knocking over several cemetery headstones and uprooted 2 large trees at the Little Clifty United Methodist Church just west of Lacon.
